Hello everyone and welcome to my page! I am so glad to have you here. 🙂 I’m Jessie Johnson, birth and Innate Postpartum Practitioner and virtual business manager. Here is a little bit about my story. I have always had a passion for helping others, even at a very young age. Growing up I spent my time working jobs coaching, teaching, and mentoring children. After high school I began working in higher education and eventually found myself in an Academic Advisor role. While working as an Academic Advisor I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Child Development. It wasn’t until after my first daughter was born that I became fascinated with birth. After this realization, I felt that my heart was pulling me in another direction.

After a few years I made the decision to leave my corporate position to pursue opportunities in the birth world. After immersing myself into my office manager position at a local birth center, I completed a birth doula training and started providing support to women and midwives in the community. Since then I have also trained as a bereavement doula, which is very near and dear to my heart. After discovering my calling to nourish mothers during the fourth trimester I became a certified postpartum professional through Newborn Mothers Collective. I am a certified birth and bereavement doula through Still Birth Day.

When not serving families with birth or local midwives, I enjoy spending time with my loving husband and our three beautiful children. My hope is to hold space for mamas and for those that serve mamas, to allow them to blossom into this new journey called motherhood with guidance, love, and all the grace.
